  • Blog Updates: When subscribing, we collect your email address through Mailchimp to send updates. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in emails.
  • Contact Forms: Data submitted via forms is processed by Formspree. We collect your name, email, and message to respond to inquiries.
  • Payments: Payment details (e.g., credit card numbers) are collected and processed securely by Stripe. We do not store payment information.

2. Purpose of Collection

We only collect personal information to:

  • Send requested blog updates.
  • Respond to inquiries or deliver services.
  • Process payments and resolve disputes.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We use the following third-party services:

  • Zammad: Our self-hosted ticketing system stores support request data on our private servers in Canada.

  • Mailchimp: Manages email subscriptions. Servers are global. See their privacy policy.
  • Matrix Foundation: Hosts comments. See their privacy policy.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or marketers.

4. Data Retention

  • Blog Subscriptions: Deleted immediately upon unsubscribing via Mailchimp.
  • Contact Information: Deleted after 1 year of inactivity or completion of services.
  • Payment Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with Canadian tax laws.

  • Zammad: Hosted on our private servers with firewall protection, regular security patches, and encrypted backups.
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
  • Payment Security: Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant, meeting the highest industry standards for payment security.
  • Formspree/Mailchimp: Both services employ industry-standard security practices.
